Florence Nightingale Graham was born in Canada in 1878 and in 1910 opened her first beauty salon on New York's Fifth Avenue where she changed her name to Elizabeth Arden. What she made was revolutionary: precious creams, foundations and completely new colors for a perfectly coordinated make-up.
