Florence Nightingale Graham was born in Canada in 1878 and in 1910 opened her first beauty salon on New York's Fifth Avenue where she changed her name to Elizabeth Arden. What she made was revolutionary: precious creams, foundations and completely new colors for a perfectly coordinated make-up. What was part of her international venture later was the perfumes she developed, perfumes that stimulated the senses and met the demands of many women around the world, right up to the present day.
